Fan Cam — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Fan Cam ("the app," "we," "us") handles information when you use the app. Fan Cam is a camera and crowd-sound application for use at sporting events and other gatherings.

Summary: Fan Cam does not collect, store, or transmit your personal information to us or to any third party. The photos and videos you capture stay on your device and in your own photo library. We have no servers, no user accounts, and no analytics or advertising trackers.

Information we do NOT collect

We do not collect, receive, or have access to:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or account information

• Your photos or videos

• Your microphone audio

• Your location

• Any usage analytics, device identifiers, or advertising identifiers

The app has no login, no user accounts, and does not send your content or personal data off your device.

Camera and microphone

• Camera. Fan Cam uses your device camera so you can take photos and record video. This happens entirely on your device.

• Microphone. When you record video, Fan Cam uses the microphone so that the applause and horn sounds played through your speaker — along with ambient sound — are captured as part of your recording. Microphone audio is used only as part of the video you record on your device.

Camera and microphone access are requested through the standard iOS permission prompts, and you can change these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app. Fan Cam does not transmit camera or microphone data to us or anyone else.

Photos and videos

Photos and videos you capture with Fan Cam are saved to your device's photo library at your direction. They are stored by you, on your device (and in your own iCloud Photos if you have that enabled through Apple). We never receive copies of your media.

Settings stored on your device

Fan Cam stores your preferences — such as your selected sounds, light/strobe mode, strobe calibration, and volume settings — locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This information never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

Purchases

Fan Cam offers a paid upgrade, "Fan Cam Pro," available as a one-time purchase or a monthly auto-renewable subscription. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Fan Cam does not collect or receive your payment information, credit card number, or Apple ID. Purchase and subscription management is handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's Privacy Policy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID account settings.

Third parties

Fan Cam does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software. The only third party involved is Apple, which processes App Store purchases and provides the operating-system services (camera, microphone, photo library, in-app purchase) that the app uses.

Children's privacy

Fan Cam is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Data security

Because Fan Cam does not collect or transmit your personal information, there is no personal data held by us to be lost or breached. Content you create remains under your control on your device and within Apple's services you have chosen to use.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
